Our favorite San Francisco foodie destination and one without compare is the Ferry Building Marketplace. At this renovated historic landmark, you'll meet specialty farmers and artisan foodmakers, and sample their delectable olive oils, cheeses, organic fruits and heirloom vegetables. You'll learn what makes farming different in this part of the world and how the farmers' edible wares find their way onto plates at top restaurants from Yountville to Yerba Buena.
